As a QCL parent you are automatically a member of this approachable, vibrant and supportive community. We arrange social events such as regular coffee mornings and provide practical assistance with other projects that bring together all the parents across the school. 

We contribute to many aspects of college life, including running the annual Queen’s College Michaelmas Fair, organising the popular Quiz and Curry Night and providing much needed refreshments and treats to pupils on Sports Day. We are also responsible for holding termly second-hand uniform sales. Volunteer class and form representatives arrange meet-ups, coordinate helpers to run our activities and provide a friendly channel for parents to stay informed and involved. 

Fundraising is a significant part of what we do. We raise funds for charities and school-related projects. The QCPA raises an average of £10,000 annually for external charities. This sum is divided equally between a charity selected by the pupils and another selected by parents. In 2025-26, the chosen charities were Smart Works and the Marylebone Project.  

The QCPA also contributes around £8,000 to the College’s Bursary and the Travel Bursary Funds. In addition, it provides financial support for a range of school initiatives and events, including the Michaelmas Fair, the Senior’s Leavers’ Dinner, and teacher led extra-curricular projects.  

All parents are welcome to attend our regular PA Meetings where we plan future events, discuss fundraising and share ideas. You’ll find details in the College’s weekly Newsletter and via announcements on the QCPA Community WhatsApp. 

Whether you have lots of time to spare or can only help occasionally, we'd love you to get involved. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. The QCPA is a friendly and welcoming group, and getting involved is a wonderful way to meet other parents, support the College and be part of the school community.
